Over a month of day and night hard work right from the bosses Mr G Manohar Naidu, G Thulsi Ram Naidu –Velu to everyone in the office of Lahari Recording office getting ready the 3000 songs 50 pack ‘Hachchevu Kannada Deepa’ finally brought cheers in everyone when it was released in the mammoth stage on the inaugural day of Vishwa Kannada Sammelana at Belgaum around 7.30 pm after the release 108 books by literary personalities.
In the presence Indian queen Aishwaraya Rai Bachchan the extremely popular Lahari Recording Velu standing next to her with Karnataka Chief Minister BSYediyurappa with others like Nagavara Ramaraya Narayana Murthy Infosys Chairman who inaugurated the Vishwa Kannada Sammelana, Prabhakar Kore, IM Vittalamurthy, Dr GSS, Dr UR Anantha Murthy, opposition leader Siddaramaiah, Sudha Murthy, Ambarish, Channaveera Kanavi, Jayanthi, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Dr Girish Kasaravalli, Dr Sudarshan, Dr KS Nissar Ahmed, BR Shetty, Neeraj Patil, Captain Gopinath and others the magnificent collection ‘HACHCHEVU KANNADADHA DEEPA’ was released for thunderous applause from 75000 crowd.
Mr Neeraj Patil Kannada Sangha head of London released ‘Hachchevu Kannada Deepa’ while the audio book of literary personalities was unveiled by Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana.
Lahari Velu thanked the government of Karnataka especially IM Vittala Murthy and Mr Baligar for extending the support. Day prior to the inaugural day 2000 packs of ‘Hachchevu Kannada Deepa’ was handed over to Government of Karnataka officials at Belgaum.
On 10th evening at Circuit House in Belgaum Lahari Velu handed over the complimentary pack to Kannada and culture minister Govinda Karajole.
Lahari Recording Company has entered the pages of history and it is continuously creating history one after the others. The other day at 77th Akila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana it released 300 songs audio MP3 CD’s. Not is 3000. What a wonder one would say.
Lahari Recording Velu present on the dais handed over sample of CD Aishwaraya Rai Bachchan and others and felt happy for the hard work.
But the day of Vishwa Kannada Sammelana was not free from tension for Veluji. As he came to his room from Mayoor Aditya in Dharawad after taking part in the morning procession of Vishwa Kannada Sammelana he was in tears on knowing the havoc in Japan. The tears of Veluji increased when he came to know Philippines is also on red alert. That is because his elder brother G Manohar Naidu son Mr Vivek was staying there and he was supposed to leave to India for his engagement on this 24th of March.
Making frantic calls Lahari Velu was shell shocked. He was relieved when he came to know the plane in which Vivek was traveling had taken off from Philippines.
Later in the evening thanking god Lahari Velu joined with Mysore Janni in the singing on the way to Bangalore from Belagavi.
